Visit to Levenseat Forth

Lib Dem Councillor Sally Pattle recently visited Levenseat Forth, a fully integrated site providing recycling and waste management solutions.

"It was a fascinating visit to the Levenseat Forth plant,” she said. “I had no idea of the scale and diversity of their operation and the different types of waste management services they are able to offer.”

“It's an impressive operation, which incorporates organics, plastics, recycled concrete production and energy production,” she explained. “Plus they have a robot! But most of the work still needs to be done manually, and it's clear that there's LOTS we need to do to increase recycling rates across the board."
