Incident at St Kentigern's

Statement from Councillor Sally Pattle on the tragic incident at St Kentigern's Academy, Blackburn:

"I have been devastated to learn of the tragic events yesterday at St Kentigern's Academy. My heart goes out to the friends and family of the boy, also to the staff who tried to save him and anyone who witnessed what happened.

I know St Kentigern's has a strong school community and that they will be supporting staff and pupils through this awful time, but our thoughts and prayers go to everyone affected by this terrible incident."
