I'm sitting watching the First Minister announce, for what are sensible and scientifically justifiable reasons, that we will still be in lockdown until the end of February.
That means that campaigning in the Livingston South by-election is going to have to be a bit different.
Under normal circumstances, I would be knocking on your door to hear what you think about local services and to discuss the implications of the Council budget for next year.
I'm not going to be able to do that in person, but I am inviting you to book a 5 minute Zoom call with me where you can tell me what is on your mind and ask me questions.
If you choose me as your councillor, I will keep in touch with you regularly. I'll report back to you at least 4 times a year with an update through your door. I will make sure that your voice is heard when any decision affecting you is made.
I will be there to help you with council services when you need it, whether it is with housing, benefits, education, social care, road safety, gritting, litter and refuse collection, the maintenance of our green spaces or anything else the Council is responsible for.
My day job is about solving problems for people and my attitude to it is that you leave no stone unturned when you try to sort something out. I want to use those skills to help you. So, if you want to have a chat with me, fill in this form and I'll get back in touch to set up a time.
