Caron said:
"I am delighted and honoured to be the Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate for Livingston. As a Liberal Democrat, I want to see a society where everyone is free to live the best life that they can. Too many are held back by poverty and ill health and that needs to change. Unpaid carers deserve better support and everyone should have a warm home to live in.
"Scottish Liberal Democrats offer a generous, respectful, open, internationalist presence in Parliament. We care passionately about protecting the planet for future generations.
"If you elect me as your MP on 4th July, you can be sure that I'll keep in regular touch with you, I'll do my absolute best to help you with any problems you have and I'll fight hard for our communities."
